AirFEST is HERE!!!
The well-anticipated weekend has arrived. Airplanes, jets, helicopters, trucks, cars, and golf carts have been arriving all week in preparation for the 9th annual ABC Supply Southern Wisconsin AirFEST. The advance Thunderbird #8 arrived Wednesday with much fanfare. The rest of the squadron arrived on Thursday which made many in the Janesville/Beloit area look to the skies to see what was making that rumble! The Canadian Snowbirds arrived Thursday as well, making the Southern Wisconsin Regional airport look like a military base with additional Demo teams of F-18's & F-16's adding to the mix.
The weather looks to be perfect for the weekend, though temperatures may be a bit on the hot side with humidity in the forecast as well.
All fencing is up, chalets are in place, concession stands are ready, and tickets are selling. It looks like we will have one of the best shows in the Midwest this weekend! Hope to see you here!
